Message How much of the system did you have to clean out, or how long did it take to get the oil burned out of the system?

Not terribly long ago I noticed my 93TT was smoking, and gradually getting worse. Ignorance with the PCV system lead me to believe the issue existed with the turbos, or possibly the longblock

I actually made it to the point of swapping both engine/turbos out for known good units, while still keeping the smoking issue. Fortunately this is stuff I just have laying around

After re-installing, the issue was still there.....doing alot more research I found a post regarding PCV's and the restrictors being goofy. These PCV valves and hoses were only about 1k miles old so I was unsure why they'd be messed up.

The original poster included this video to better identify the symptoms

My car was still doing the exact same thing (as the video), and then I found on the passenger side, the restrictor in the front-most PCV hose was cocked sideways. There was a good amount of oil in the Plenum as well. I took off the plenum, power washed it, and cleaned anything I could get my hands on.

The car still smokes identical to what it did, after about 100 miles or so, and prob 30 mins of idling in the garage.....so I am curious if theres just a ton of shit in the exhaust system now, or if I need to be looking elsewhere
